Today 6 August 2022
Called in for breakfast. The sausages were black (not even sure that they were sausages), the back of the eggs were as black as coal, the bacon was covered in black pieces, the hash browns were extremely crisp, it was as though the pan or hot plate had not been cleaned for years. On top of that the whole meal was swimming in oil. The beans were in a small plastic container (I didn’t venture into it). On the positive side the two slices of toast with a pat of butter and one of margarine was OK. Lots of people were sitting outside but strangle no one was eating. The woman who served us was extremely odd. I have no idea what has happened but it is now probably the worst café in the country. I advise everyone to stay well clear, VILE.

Read moreWe ate here today, never ever again. Should have had alarm bells ringing when our lattes were placed in front of us with curdled milk. I pointed this out and the waitress seemed surprised at this, I mean she must have seen when she made them. Anyway, they were replaced swiftly the second ones were fine. Then came the breakfast, underneath of the eggs were black, the bacon was covered in what can only be described as black grease, hash browns blatantly reheated in the fryer, beans were ok they came in a plastic pot stood on the plate, we were disappointed that for £10 each the mushrooms were from a tin and tasteless, the only good thing were the sausages. We’ve since spoken to other people who have said since it changed over the Jurassic foods it’s become a place to avoid, such a shame as under the previous owners it...

You’re welcomed and served by happy employees who love what they do and do it well. The delicious food they make and serve is divine in taste, presentation and recipe. The Cafe’s great atmosphere encourages one to sit back, relax and soak it all up whilst enjoying all that goodness whether it’s a cuppa, a cake or a full on plated meal. It’s a fabulous and interesting cafe and fast becoming the most popular eatery in Dorset. I’ve heard the owner Nina has big plans and great ideas and if this cafe is anything to go by then there’s no doubt whatever’s in the planning will definitely be a success. I wish her and her hard working happy staff every success and I highly recommend you stop by and taste the pudding...
