Spent £120 on a meal out for the family for mother’s day, food was ok, standard pub food, service was terrible, 4 of the people had deserts served while 3 of us waited a further 40 minutes! Tables who ordered after us had eaten their food and deserts and we where still sat waiting, 2 where brought out and the last was another 5 minutes, when it came there was a black hair right through the middle at this point I just wanted to leave, manager cane over and I said I wanted a refund! He then starts arguing with me about the fact that some of the staff had their hair up, yet some of them had hair hanging down and I raised the concern that clearly they shouldn’t be in the kitchen with hair down their faces, he continued to argue increasing my frustrations, at this point I’m still waiting for an apology yet he found it more necessary to have a very offensive approach, I have the right to be angry after 40 minutes and then hair in my food! Eventually but without empathy or ownership he said he would refund by cash even though I said I paid by card, he said they can only refund by cash! As a consumer if I pay by card I have the right to be refunded by card yet he said no! He retrieved the cash came back and handed it to me without saying a single word! No apology, strong customer services would have prevented me from becoming irate yet he failed to provide such basic skills! Won’t go back that’s for sure! A customer service management training course would be rewarding at this...

This pub used to be great, I recently visited with my 8 year old son, we sat down and grabbed some drinks and ordered food as normal. Before the food arrived two lady’s arrived and sat on the next table (within 3”2-3 feet away) with a massive dog. The dog was sniffing my son who’s scared of dogs after being bitten last year by one. I asked them to keep their dog away from my son and they got him to lie down for a little while but dog being a dog kept getting up and climbing on the table. I was getting angry as why on earth are dogs allowed in a place serving food for one. So I raised it with then bar staff who just shrugged and said you can move to another table if you want and allowed this dog to remain in the food serving area harassing customer who were eating. Staff clearly don’t care about anything and just carried on as if it’s normal. It ruined my lunch… I won’t be eating here again, clearly don’t care and have any standards at all so makes me think what’s happening in the areas we don’t see. Visited...

Quite disappointed. The restaurant was very quiet and there were 3 members of staff at the bar area but the tables and highchairs especially were filthy/ crusty, I had to clean them myself with wipes.

The food was quite nice, although there were items missing such as onion rings (maybe they were out I'm not sure we weren't told).

It is advertised that kids eat for £1 with every adult meal but we were charged full price. When I queried this with staff who took the order (Rosie?) they said no we couldn't have them for £1, its over, holidays only, they're old menus and that was the end of that.

All the lights where we were eating were turned off during our meal and we had to carry on best we could in relative darkness for the area we were sat where there were no windows or much natural light. There were no staff around and weren't told about any issues so I'm not sure why this was. Maybe they've started rationing the electric in preparation for the upcoming...

Took our grandchildren here. We went around 4.30pm on a Wednesday afternoon we purchased the 5 for £16 and then purchased sides of chips the food was OK usual pub grub. Then we had desserts have to say thes were really nice and well worth the money think we paid between £4/£5 kids enjoyed it. You can use your blue light card here which is always a bonus.
