Rendezvous Café & Bar — Restaurant in England

My parents and I tried this cafe for the first time this morning and it was one of the worst experiences I've had. My drink was forgotten, and I mentioned it to about 3 staff members before receiving it about 20 mins later. My mum's toast was actually just bread that had never seen a roaster. You can't even argue that it was lightly toasted, just completely floppy like it was fresh out the pack. And to top if off, the butter pack was melted so badly that when my dad opened it, the entire packet poured over his lap. So yeah, we won't be back and I won't be recommending it...

Popped in to have lunch with two friends and two of their little girls. Looked through the menu, chatting and deciding what to have for 10 mins. Went to cafe this morning and had smoked haddock and poached eggs which took 25minutes to get it, the haddock was overcooked and managed to hide underneath the poached eggs as it was so small, the haddock and poached eggs, toast and tea for two of us came to over eighteen pounds isn't value 😞 😭 for money changing the owner makes it bad value .
