Ring Of Bells Inn — Restaurant in England

Went to a party here this evening, although the company I was with was lovely not everything was. The food although cooked very well and tasted great was a lot of the same over and over and no sweets. We were served by 3 members of staff 2 ladies and 1 man, the ladies were lovely as for the man he was some what rude and made me feel uncomfortable and not in a rush to come back. All staff need to know how to charge the same as the first round I bought for my family had 7 drinks was just over £13 when I bought our second round with only 6 drinks it was over £14 although that's not a lot difference I didn't make sense and all I got told by the man was "you just got lucky!" , I'm not happy how i was left feeling and hope my friends who invited ours take their wedding...

Over all most of my group enjoyed the Carvery and me myself did enjoy it but a couple of my group thought the potatoes were too hard and the mother in law with her false teeth couldn't even bite them lol... On the whole though the Carvery was pretty good. 4 choices of meat and plenty of veg to choose from. Sadly there were only 4 desserts on the dessert board and 1 of these wasn't available. This meant some of my group went without dessert as there wasn't anything they fancied. I had dessert though and it was very nice 😋. We visited here for a 40th birthday party so the review will only be a partial one. Firstly we had never been here before and parking was a bit of an issue especially as the pub is on a busy main road. There was a nice atmosphere to the place, the young couple who were running the place were warm and welcoming & friendly. There were a good selection of beers, wines & spirits, tge prices were average & the pub was clean & tidy. The party food that was provided by the pub was good & well presentedas were the few bits that we ordered from their menu.
