Ritson's Bar (Wasdale Head Inn) — Restaurant in England

This is my second visit and all I can say it's as good if not better than the first to staff at absolutely fantastic and I would like to mention Reece the chef for helping me out with food when I had very little money also thank you to Gillian that helped me out x and it's quite amazing that she manages to run the hotel and bar kitchen and everything like clockwork 👍👍👌

In general the hole staff ( who unfortunately I don't remember their names due to my mental issues. 😥Sorry) the team were absolutely fantastic and I would recommend 100% anybody who is thinking about paying a visit to do so 👍 All of the food looked absolutely fantastic and it was also real food not microwave rubbish 👌.

On one other note I would like to thank Nigel for giving me the information about climbing different fells 👍.

All in all the whole experience even though I was only camping was amazing thank you all x

I really loved my experience in this pub. Had a great atmosphere, lots of good music and friendly staff. Food was hot and fresh, if anything could be added I think a little more cheese to the pasta but overall so lovely. I can imagine sitting outside when a little warmer would be so magical. I liked the posters around the walls too, you could have a good read of previous events and people living in the area… we delved into research over “Owen Glynne Jones”, I local in the 19th century known for his fearless mountaineering and would entertain people down the local pub with his gymnastics apparently 🤣 The only thing I might say is there always seemed to be a queue to order food.. it might be better to serve people from tables or to have two order takers to remove the queuing for food! This bar they serve a grilled Hallomi and roasted pepper salad dish that is very tasty, I love the taste of the roasted peppers they melt in your mouth with a mixture of other vegetables and Hallomi, I also ordered the Mediterranean vegetable pasta with sweet garlic and basil olive oil, it was delicious, but I think it would be much better for me If the amount of olive oil is less, because it is a little green for me and I asked for an orange juice. The staff are very friendly, you can see the smile on their faces, besides when we got our order quickly, sanitizer is provided, no need to wear masks but there is a plastic partition between the table, this is a good way to maintain social distance.
