Route 56 Cafe on Mill Lane in Frodsham is a delightful gem worth discovering. The food is not just nice; it's exceptional, with each dish freshly cooked every time, ensuring a burst of flavor in every bite. The staff are not only lovely but also incredibly chatty, adding to the warm and welcoming atmosphere. Beyond the culinary delights, Route 56 offers a unique touch with its custom furniture and art items for sale, making it a must-visit destination for both foodies and art enthusiasts alike. A truly charming experience awaits at Route 56 Cafe. Price of the food is very reasonable too, not overly expensive like a lot of places these days.

I'd always seen this place and never been there before, I was sat down by the swing bridge so I just thought I'd give it a crack and I'm grateful I did. Thick bacon on toast £3.50 and it was lovely, drinks aren't too overpriced and the place as a whole is nice. I'd definitely go back, infact I want to go back right now for another bacon sarnie and I've only just finished this one 🤣

We tried Rout 56 for the first time this morning. We gave Route 56 9.5 out of 10 for their bacon and sausage barm with a hot chocolate. And 10 out of 10 for service.

Desperate for a decent bacon butty after a long drive, the wife and I decided to try route 56 after seeing other reviews. Overall, fairly unimpressed. Overpriced, unremarkable food with the only consolation was being hot...ish. £11.40 for 1 tea 1 coffee, a bacon sandwich and a bacon and egg barm. Oh and a sausage for the dogs. If only I'd known castle park was down the road and I've heard much better things about the food there. As for Route 57, it's so well camouflaged on the side of mill Lane that it's easily missed. I just...

We order from work twice a month normally, the latest time the lady on the end phone seemed put out because she was busy and moaned. Normally food is really nice, today though black pudding undercooked, eggs overcooked, bacon stringy fat, grilled tomato just half a tomato doesn't look to have seen a pan or grill and toast burnt. Shame because it has put me off ordering...
