Rowe's Bakers Chiverton Cross Shop — Restaurant in England

Popped in to Rowe’s Bakers, Chiverton Cross, whilst on a short stay nearby — and what a great find! I visited twice for pasties and a sweet treat. A lovely lady behind the counter was so helpful and polite, recommending some great options. On my second visit, she even remembered what I’d had previously and suggested something new as they had more options available — such a nice personal touch! (Didn’t catch her name, but she’s a fellow tattoo lover!)

I purchased a large stake and a cheese and onion pasties both where to price but the quality was very poor Luke warm rock hard crust not edible the steak should have lumps of steak these had shreds that where lucky if it had 1% meat not good the quality has gone down a long way I have lived in Cornwall for over twenty four years and never had such poor pasties and I was a chef for over twenty nine years so I know a bit about food by now I'm not sure if I would go back sorry but I think you can get better quality and value from other suppliers I recommend avoiding until they can improve the quality of the food/ choices of products and realistic prices.and why not stock...

I recently moved to Cornwall from the Midlands, and discovering Rowes Cornish Bakers has been an absolute delight! This specific branch is spacious, welcoming, and filled with an incredible selection of pasties, baked goods, sweet treats, and more. The quality and variety are unmatched, and to top it all off, the prices are unbeatable—such great value for such delicious food!
