Samanthas Diner @ Docklands Truck park &Wash — Restaurant in England

I had previously visited this site for a truck wash. It’s a little expensive, but wow, it’s the best truck wash I’ve used, hand washed by brilliant lads, they don’t miss a thing and leave both unit and trailer spotless.

When I went to pay for the wash, I got talking to Samantha. Friendly and talkative, she’s passionate about her site, it’s her baby as she called it. Her staff, Jeanette, Nat, little Jane and big Jane are great. Care about customer satisfaction. Food is really good. Wouldn’t make me an omelette, but I had the scampi and chips, salad, bread and butter and cup of tea. Oh and brownie for pudding. All for about £5. Other food sounds good. Locally sourced food and quick service.

Showers are good. Warm,rainfall showers. Cleaned regularly.

Parking is great. Not really busy, can’t understand why. It’s better than the “other place” near the motorway, it’s on SNAP. No fridges allowed so a good nights sleep with no noise from fridges or the motorway.

Give it a try, it’s places like this that need to survive, because if they are gone, they’re gone for good.

I’ll be here regularly. Love the place. Thanks to all involved.

Visited this diner .. food was best I’ve had for years out.. enjoyed it so much we returned a couple of weeks later with our neighbours who enjoyed it as much as us.. so now it is our go to breakfast diner.. and are looking forward to trying other food off their inviting menu.. Samantha and her staff are all very welcoming and made us all feel comfy there from the start nothing is too much trouble for them.. this is not just a truck stop cafe its open to everyone and there is free parking for cars and vans right outside the cafe.. highly recommend this diner to everyone even if your a fussy eater they will cater to your needs.. very clean too spotless infact no tables left unclean.. well done Samantha keep up the brilliant job your doing and we are looking forward to trying your home made pies and desserts and thank you to you and your staff for making us feel welcome in your diner.....

First time here, The girl that was on , on her own, was, lovely, very friendly, sorted out parking, then ordered food, from a very limited, I mean, very limited menu. However, then things took a turn, this woman came in, very arrogant, took over, never said anything, then I noticed, she was not doing my order how I asked, so I said, excuse me love, is that my food, yes she said, so I said, it's not what I asked, her reply in a vile manner was, this is the way we do it here, .... Aghhhh, it clicked, so I replied, I take it you are the owner, yes she said, ah, that explains it, have been told a great deal, staff, spot on,. Go find out for yourself, I won't be back, what a horrible...
