We visited Sand Bay as we have 2 dogs and the beach allows them all year round. Read all about the Sand Bay Tea rooms as they were dog friendly too and was really looking forward to having some food and getting the dogs āthe doggie cream teaā. I have a lactose intolerance so cannot have any dairy products and as they have a sign on the wall that says please letās us know when ordering food If you have any allergies, my wife asked what was available, the young lad who was serving said all their sauces and gravy had milk products so they were no good, he then turned around and asked the gentleman in the kitchen ( who she took to be the owner) what was milk free only to get the reply ā a tomatoā. My wife didnāt think this was in any way helpful and actually felt like he was taking the Micky!! We left without ordering any food! We always enjoy taking our pooch for a walk along the beach over the road and coming in for lunch, usually soup, toastie or scrambled eggs. Disabled parking outside or in car park just down the road. Unfortunately dogs not allowed inside now due to people not being respectful and coming in with very muddy dogs. A really friendly...
