Silvers Pantry — Restaurant in England

I am a coeliac and I usually struggle to eat breakfast in coffee and cake type places but the staff of Silvers Pantry, in addition to being very friendly, were very understanding and able to tailor a breakfast exactly to my needs. They were even considerate about cross-contamination which surpasses most places I have visited since my diagnosis. I am not always confident eating out but this level of care really put me at ease and was done in a really nice and unfussy way.

Even better - the food and coffee was absolutely delicious and generous. It was also served really quickly. I wasn't expecting such fast service as news about the quality of food in this place has evidently gotten out and it was quite busy at the time. My partner had the veggie breakfast and it was lavish but also really well balanced. We're an awkward pair for dietary requirements and we were well catered for. The menu has a lot of very attractive options for breakfast and brunch and it was something of a tragedy neither of us had room for more.

The cafe itself is cosy but the seating is well spaced so that you are not bumping elbows with other customers. It is situated near a working farm and there are a couple of other boutique art shops nearby as well as a pen with a pair of very well turned-out goats.

The Silver Pantry is the perfect place to get some breakfast. My friends and I are visiting the area for a little getaway and we stumbled upon this place for breakfast. We were immediately welcomed by Julie who is the sweetest lady who guided us to our table and was extremely attentive. I wanted to swap out some of the things in my order and she was so happy to do that for me. She was very kind really helpful bring us water when we needed a top up and just really warm service. I don’t get to eat here very often due to normally being very busy on Saturdays. The food is a Very high standard, and always good service. Well priced. Good country breakfast. 5* every time, but didn’t realised they’ve built an “annex” . Which to be fair they did call to confirm that I would be sitting there. Described over the phone as 4 walls and a roof,…..truthfully was more like a shed with 3.5 walls with a polycarb roof. It’s was cold being 23rd of December and the wall heater was broken. So bit of a shame that when you book you could be outside. Personally I say do away with it until summer or have a separate booking category. Very nice otherwise. I was just jealous of...
