Slice n Smash — Restaurant in England

Decided to try this place tonight (used to be some place else, which we used to enjoy) Picked up a menu, then went to order - the guy on the till was struggling to understand my partner (English) and was stood there about 5-10mins going over the order. We then sat there for 30mins, while the people behind the counter looked flustered and unsure on what order they was putting together. All the while the just eat orders where flying out the door (a disappointing order soon to land in the onliner laps) In the order was some jalapeño cheesy chips... as the guy was starting to pack our order, I was asked how to make these. I assumed the jalapeños were cut up into pieces and mixed with the cheese on top on chips. (Assuming is a bad idea!) We then was given our order along with a free drink, assuming how long we had been stuck in there for and left. We was stood across the road from the Malt Shovel when we heard a shout and the guy from the cooking station shouted us back as they had forgotten a portion of chips so we had to walk back and wait another 2mins to get these. Finally home and hungry the big boss burgers was a real disappointment, being approximately 3 mouth fulls with brown lettuce, although the taste was alright. The pizza looked nice but was over cooked and dry like the chips. The portion of loaded fries looked so unappealing and smelt awful, looked like dog food! My partner (a big foodie) actually spat these out and refused to eat them. The jalapeño chips was breaded pickled ones, with dry chips and some cheese thrown on top! Wish I could give zeros. I have never dealt with such a load of nonsense from a delivery driver. Food was ordered to a hospital ward with instructions to ring the buzzer.

After waiting for ages all of a sudden it pops up saying food delivered. Phone to ask what’s going on to have a delivery driver cursing and calling me a liar. Passed the phone to a member of staff who tried to calmly explain he must have gone to the wrong place and asked if he pressed the buzzer.

Driver rude to the hospital worker and claimed that he waited for 15-20 mins constantly pressing the buzzer. So they check cctv and no surprises there was no single car that entered the car park at all let alone came in , waited for up to 15 mins while pressing the buzzer.

Driver called us liars but said he’d bring the food back anyway. Another 20 mins later he finally arrives at the right place , therefore realizing his error, but continued to be abusive towards the Member of staff that came out.

Food was obviously freezing but worse was upon noticing one of the sealed boxes had clearly been opened we checked to see suspected spit all over one of the portions of chips.

Have taken photographic evidence to pass onto just eat and hospital staff will be reporting to authorities. Not only is this disgusting but completely illegal.

When me and my partner first came here we'll first few times absolutely gorgeous, tasted amazing cooked to perfection. Couldn't ask for better, become a regular literally food is worst, my partner orders American cheese burger, and I have the English breakfast, my egg whites are still runny, my beans smell like they have gone of, they don't even butter your bread. As for the burger since the first few times they stopped frying the onions, the cheese as become cheap slices not MOZZARELLA I'd suggest going now and again.
