🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 We had a fantastic meal at Spice Dunes in Farrington Gurney! I ordered the Vegetable Pasanda with pilau rice, and my wife had a beautifully spiced Vegetable Rogan Josh paired with egg fried rice — both dishes were rich, fragrant, and full of flavour. We shared a deliciously sweet peshwari naan, which perfectly complemented the meal. I enjoyed a crisp pint of Kingfisher while my wife sipped a smooth glass of Merlot. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, with great service and stunning décor — including a wall of travel photography that really adds charm to the place. Highly recommend and absolutely deserving of 5 stars!

Absolutely rubbish!! Normally go to shapla for a takeaway but thought we'd try spice dunes...a very long wait..1hr. Came bk...not very hot...nanas were way too doughy..rice was bland..and my prawn passanda was chewy!! And definitely not nearly as good as shapla...plus dearer! What a disappointment 😞 I've had several sit down meals there and always enjoyed but tonight it was a disaster. Back to shapla in future!!

Can’t fault their service! We pre-ordered a 27-person order for our Christmas football night a few days before and when we arrived to collect it was ready straight away, packed in boxes and the kind gentlemen helped us with the boxes to the car. One curry was (easily) forgotten and we phoned and they delivered it straight away to us. All of the curries were delicious also. Can’t thank and recommend them enough

Ordered a prawn jafrani which is described as being tiger prawns and was served prawns. Pointed this out and was advised the tiger prawns was a more expensive option at £11.50 rather than £9.50. Nope, menu says £9.50 tiger prawns. He took it away, but left the rest of the food to go cold. Came back with jumbo prawns, still not tigers . At this point I was starving, my partner had eaten most of his food whilst the rest was now luke warm so I just ate it. Really quite disappointed. We then asked for the bill and none came, had to go to counter to pay. So menu wrong, prices wrong, no effort to really fix it other than to charge the amount as per menu rather than his...

I recently ordered a large order £200 from Spice Dunes, Wells while visiting Somerset. The service and ambience of the restaurant is great. We ordered an extensive order with the staff suggesting they are authentic. We specifically mentioned that we are looking for authentic Indian and medium to spicy food. To our disappointment, the restaurant gave us food which was completely sweet!!! This kind of non sense is quite prevalent in the UK where Bangladeshi cuisine specialist claim to be authentic Indian cuisine. They couldn’t even emulate Lamb Nihari which was a huge surprise. Worst part is that the food was wasted in this process. NOT...
