Part of Marston's chain of pubs, you'd think that would give you a pretty good choice of beers, especially as they have a "regularly changing guest ale". Not so, they seemed to stick with the same "guest" for months and months, so we got bored and stopped going. Went back last night and they had Jenning's Crag Rat. Result! A great ale, and one you don't get every day! Maybe they'll have this one on for months again, and we'll get bored, but hopefully not! Other than that, nice pub, decent interior decor & layout, decent, cheap grub and a friendly approachable manager. Some of the staff (or maybe just regulars who think they own the place) have been rude to me more than once.
