Local pub, for locals only - one of those pubs everyone looks at you when you walk in cause your not local, it's like stepping back in time 20 years ago, wood on walls and dodgy carpet. Sport playing, sport bunting up - rugby on. Smoking area out the back. Had a pizza and drink. Thought the menu was limited and odd, kebab meat? Seemed strange to me. Mainly chips on offer. I went in for food not alcohol, that may have been where I went wrong. Meat feast pizza, mainly tasted of tomato puree sauce, no flavour, slightly odd taste. Plate looked green /grey, the base of the pizza looked mouldy, could be something on the base during cooking but didn't taste right or great! Left the pizza and left the building. Not the best customer service in my opinion. No one offered cutlery or serviettes with my pizza, no one checked in if ok, no offer of ice or slice in my drink.. seemed to me a all a bit of bother, to serve. When phone rang the attitude was 'oh not again' Wouldn't recommend and won't...

The other thing that could do with improvement is the bar does not offer any kind of wifi, and the pubs thick walls narrow streets outside the windows prevent...

The locals all chat with you so no feeling like an out of place tourist. Loads of screens for watching all the live sport, and has a decent pool table and dart board. And always has entertainment scheduled each week. Highly...
