This is what you call a proper pub. Sunday roast provides an option for everyone and if you don’t fancy the usual Sunday dinner they even have a list of things to satisfy everyone’s taste. Chico the landlord made us feel extremely welcome and even sat down to have a chat with us. Everyone in this pub was friendly and said hello when we walked in and the pints are extremely cheap for what seems to be a stuck up area when driving around. I pass this pub regularly, on the way to work and always wondered what the food was like? So I popped in today, to try out the roast, after a mate recommended it. Was not disappointed, it was a huge portion (pwoar) I opted for chunks of lamb (I know they're cute but they taste so good) and it came with a massive Yorkshire pudding, roast potato's and the usual vegetables. I've got a big appetite but it was a bit of battle to eat it all but I managed too, as it was damn good. The staff we're friendly and very welcoming, the pubs very homely too. So we went there after seeing an ad on Facebook. They opened up for the first time on a Tuesday. We heard that they would have music playing, its a basic pub, sitting inside though lots of people were outside. Everyone was really friendly, dogs allowed. It's a lovely come as you are pub, nothing fancy but very welcoming. We had a great night. Prices were reasonable too. We will go back. They do do food but at the weekend and later in the week....
