Starbucks Coffee — Restaurant in England

Hi there. I visited the Bedford drive through as I do most days, and received the WORST customer service in my life! I ordered two drinks and presented my starbucks card to claim a reward. I then asked if I could pay the rest on my gift card as I did the previous time, she abruptly replied “that’s impossible, they’re both starbucks” this confused me more as I have used it along with my starbucks card before. I told her this in the exact words of “oh, I have used it along side my card before as the lady said it was an issue your side not mine.” She then snapped back and said “no need to get rude” I replied puzzled “I wasn’t i just don’t understand” and before I could finish my sentence she said “NO! Here’s your oat and here’s your almond.” I took my drinks and she slammed the Window in my face before I even got the drink through my car window. I was also in need of asking for a straw as my friend has braces and is unable to drink through a sip lid. I was unable to get a name as the unpleasant interaction was so fast. The order is number was 7526 on Tuesday 21/02/23 at 18:52:26PM store number 48005.

I am incredibly shocked at how aggressive she was towards me, and the lack of professionalism and knowledge as a Starbucks representative, it was appalling! I am now extremely anxious and nervous to return to this branch due to feeling extremely belittled and embarrassed. I am certain this would not have happened in store, but due to it being a drive through and them having the ability to shut me out. I feel as though this was the equivalent of somebody putting their hand to my face to get me to stop...

I usually go most days on my way to pick my husband up from work. On my last visit it was a totally different staff on duty. Johnny who was making the drinks was very concerned about perfecting a work colleagues drink and eventually another barrista came and got my cup to make my order looking obviously irritated. The coffee was the worst one I have had there so I opted to get an iced drink instead to take out for my husband. Again Johnny was more interested in his colleagues than serving and eventually another young girl came to the till and apologised for the wait. I asked to speak to a manager to be told only a supervisor was on site so I asked for head office address to be told it wasn't possible to give it to me. Its a shame that a relatively new unit is alienating...

We visited Starbucks in Bedford, located in a small retail park with McDonald’s and Domino’s nearby. The place is very nice and cozy inside, with large windows facing directly onto the highway. If you’re coming by motorcycle, like I did, you can park right in front and keep an eye on it, which feels very safe.

The staff and the overall atmosphere are great—clean, tidy, and welcoming. Everyone is polite and kind. The restrooms are spotless, absolutely sparkling. Inside, there are spacious tables and a variety of seating options—whether you prefer sitting upright or lounging comfortably. They also provide different types of cups.

I came here with my girlfriend for a little trip, and we really enjoyed it. We were very satisfied. I definitely recommend trying their new...
