Looked at the great reviews and decided to travel here and have a breakfast, firstly was told to tie my dog up outside while I order the food, I shown he was a service dog which confused the staff, we ordered a full breakfast and I asked for fresh orange juice which was told to look in the fridge for it đ€·đŒ clearly being brought a glass of OJ with breakfast doesnât happen here, the breakfast came and full English here is bacon sausage, 1 egg and a spoonful of beans, not what a would say is full English, I am surprised how this place attracts so many people as service is young people and clearly inexperienced, sorry for bad review but this clearly isnât a full English breakfast and really need to make it clear that service animals have...
Read moreWe arrived at Station House cafe around 1.30pm. We ordered a tuna sandwich, 2 cheese and ham toasties, a tuna and cheese toastie, and a sausage and egg barm. The staff were also very friendly. However, I wouldn't return purely because of the food and the price. It just...
Read moreWhat a gem of a find. We live fairly local and hadnât realised that either this cafe existed or indeed The Whitegate Way. I now cycle here and find it a lovely place to stop, get refreshments and explore the area. If youâre looking for âBistroâ or fine wining Cordon Bleu then look elsewhere, but what you will get is basic cafe style cooking like bacon butties, soup, cake etc and for my taste, itâs very nice. I can get a bacon/sausage butty & cup of tea for less than a coffee and cake at a well known high street coffee shop. Well worth a visit and itâs a community cafe not a profit making chain so Iâm glad to support their hard work...
