Subway — Restaurant in England

I have been going to this subway since I moved to Wokingham 2 years ago. As emergency service workers my husband and I have used our blue light card discount in this store each time we go (approx once every 6 weeks). Sadly we went in today and they advised they would no longer accept the blue light discount despite the discount website naming them as a participating store. The man working there said only London stores were participating and that people had been misusing their emergency service discount. (Not what the blue light card site advises so not sure where the crossed wires are) Was a shame to be confronted with this misinformation from the employee working there and denied the discount we were entitled to and borderline accused of lying about the validity of our blue light card... so as a result we will not be returning, which is such a shame because until now they have been really great and the little discount we receive as a thanks for the public service jobs we do were really...

Winnersh Staff. I love subway I usually eat 4 or 5 times a week. But I seriously disappointed Winnersh Subway’s staff. I walk into store. Staff was talking with his mate. I wait for a while to be served. But he didn’t do anything even, didn’t say hi or hello. I said, excuse me I’m in hurry could you please serve me, then he was so rude and said he is busy. To be honest i was the only customer in the shop at the time. No one else there. He served me but he was serve ring soo slowly doing it purposely. And he was talking his language. It Was so uncomfortable moment. I was very upset the way he treated me. I still said I’m sorry. I’m in rush. He sundely said don’t come again. At this point didn’t know what to say. Will never go to winners...

Staff are miserable and one snapped at the other whilst we were there. We love a good subway, unfortunately this one isn't good. I opt for cheese and salad as I'm a veggie. They'd only put 2 bits of cheese in (without charging extra) which I've never had in any other subway and the salad was poor. 2 small slices of olive, 1 slice onion, 2 pieces of sweetcorn, tomato, few strands of lettuce, etc etc. In other subways it usually overflows but this one they are very tight with ingredients. Tried this place twice and same both times. Won't go back here, but will go back to...
