Sukhi's Indian Takeaway - Darwen — Restaurant in England

I have been frequenting Sukhi's takeaway for many years when Sukhi actually owned and ran it. Last year after 3 very disappointing meals i used other establishments. Tonight 19/09/2020 i decided to give them another chance, what a disaster. I chose a main course tandoori tikka mix garlic special, my wife chose a keema bhuna. My carton was filled with sauce which in fairness tasted ok but the tandoori content was disgraceful...3 small pieces of chicken and 3 small pieces of lamb (in the past when Sukhi owned it there would have been 4 or 5 pieces of chicken, 4 or 5 pieces of lamb and at least one or two king prawns), my wifes keema bhuna (minced lamb) was devoid of meat and was 90% sauce instead of at least 80% minced lamb. The bill with 3 pappadum was £20-00 delivered. Quite simply...

If you're looking for a fantastic Indian takeaway, then me tell you about this place!. The aroma of spices hits you as soon as you open the containers😮‍💨 promising an authentic culinary experience. Their butter chicken is rich and creamy, and the samosas are perfectly crispy!!! The naan bread is fluffy and pairs perfectly with their flavorful curries 🤗The portion sizes are generous, ensuring you get great value for your money. Overall, this place never fails to impress with its delicious food and of course the friendly service! Wont be the last time they see me here...

I've used Sukhi's for years. In the last year or so I think they've been taken over because the portions have shrunk and seem to be mostly sauce and very little actual meat/paneer/potato.

It's alright in terms of taste, but arrived luke warm and half an hour late (pre ordered 6 hours earlier).

I won't be using them again as I feel very let down by the poor quality and tiny portions. There are a lot of good quality Indian takeaways in Darwen, so they won't last long if they don't improve! This isn't the first review criticising the change...
