Actually 0/5 stars. We ordered at 18:50 and our order arrived at 20:20 (despite the delivery time saying a max of 45 minutes). The food arrived stone cold. By this point it was late enough and we were both very hungry, so we waited until after we'd eaten to complain because it was already 1 and a half hours since we'd ordered. We already knew something must have been wrong as we had poppadoms and bombay potato with the order that we didn't ask for, which is the usual "compensation" from takeaways. When speaking over the telephone they were incredibly unhelpful. They said they would "sort out some sort of discount" for our next order, to which I replied that I wouldn't be convinced to order from them again in the chances it would once again arrive cold. Giving them business when it's not guaranteed quality. They went to speak their manager to tell them we were disatisfied and came back to say they could offer us a discount on our next order, to which I once again said why should I ever order from them again. They asked what it was that we wanted, giving us the option, to which we asked for a full or partial refund. They went to speak to their manager again, who this time said we should phone them back tomorrow for them to resolve this issue as they are "very busy" - as if this was our fault. When requesting to speak to the manager at this point, literally 2 minutes later, they suddenly became unavailable. After pushing to speak to the manager, the person went to speak to them again and we were then told that we would have to approach Just Eat directly. That they wouldn't process it for us, or approach Just Eat to resolve the issue like they said earlier. They told us it was our fault that we didn't ring them straight away when the food arrived and that they would've sent new food out immediately if we had done so. However that would've been a minimum of 30 minutes (if we were lucky) with the time added on top for delivery, plus cooking time. Eventually I was told "I cannot do anything for you, we're really busy and I have to go - and if I don't go back, we will get more complaints" and they hung up on me. We are totally unsatisfied by the service we've received from Tandoori Masala and wouldn't...
Read moreWent in Wednesday night just after 10 after finishing an 8 hour shift. Last thing I felt like was cooking. I didn't ask for any big dishes. But onion bhaji's and naan breed for take away.
Shouldn't be hard correct? Only people left in the restaurant were a small group of men who were just sat with a beer.
I drove home only to find one side of the naan was completely burnt. Burnt?! How is that acceptable? I didn't ask for you to start your cookers again. I asked for a simple meal is all. After tearing it open I honestly wasn't convinced the other side was cooked properly.
I was frustrated, drove back to hopefully get my money back as I was not happy. I went in with the naan politely explaining the situation. I was spoken over the entire time thrown the £3 in cash randomly and told I'd get another.. Let me give you some advice here when your customer is explaining what you have done in a polite manner listen to them and don't talk over them loudly. It's rude, especially when you're in the wrong. By which point I'd honestly lost my appetite and after having someone not let me get a word in to explain my disappointment the last thing I wanted to do was have to wait there calmly.
The staffs way about going about it was rushed and quite immature. To not be offered an entire refund to my card was ridiculous. And to be talked over was wrong. Why would I ask if I couldn't even get a word in! Shouldn't have been there in the first place. I'm sorry but I never asked for anything hard.
Never going back and I will never recommend the...
Read moreMe and my boyfriend we greeted with smiling faces and warmth. We was quickly taken to our table which was perfectly situated for a cosy date night. Our waiter tended to us frequently until we was ready to order, we asked for appetisers and moments later he returned with a van of appletiser which we all found hilarious as my partner has a strong northern accent I can’t even understand. To start we had a king prawn puri which was perfectly cooked, temperature hot and a decent amount of prawns. For our main Karl had chicken vibdaloo which he couldn’t get enough of, the chicken was succulent and juicy, cooked to perfection. I had a chicken pasanda which I’d never had before but WOW it’s the best Indian dish I’ve ever had. Each dish has a generous amount of chicken so much so we took a doggy bag home. All around a great experience. We will be sure to return in the near future. The service was outstanding and the guys went above and beyond. Not a single fault with our evening apart from having to walk home...
