Extremely expensive! Cost £20 for two chips, a ham and cheese toastie, a can, a coffee and tea. Looks like it's been taken over since our last visit and extremely disappointed. Menu has changed, no nuggets or fish fingers for kids, everything has gone up about £2. Different staff than last year too - making me think more it's been taken over. Ham and cheese toastie was £4.50 and it was ridiculous when it come. Should be about £2.75. Or offer a few chips or salad with it. (picture below). Definitely won't be going back, such a sad thing because it was lovely before. And now cheaper to eat in a restaurant all day breakfast was nearly £8! Don't bother going for a cheap and cheerful day like it used to be!

Park Life Café is inside the beautiful Queen's Park which is a quiet, well-maintained and beautiful park at Crewe. It's a wonderful place to chill out with family, friends and pets on the weekends. I have been there several times and always enjoyed my coffee in the midst of the natural surroundings. The food and lovely ambience makes this place worthwhile not one but multiple visits !

The view is amazing overlooking a pond. The staff is really friendly. Tried their cappuccino and flat white, wasn’t the best coffee. I saw a lot of people ordering hot chocolate and ice cream, they seemed like regulars so maybe that would’ve been a better choice. The inside was too loud to sit in, outside seating available and was comfortable. Average prices.

Extremely slow service and almost all staff were horrendously rude. We attempted to order a child’s pasta meal only to be told ‘it’ll take too long, order something else’. Absolutely shocking. I was even more shocked at the price that went along with it. £24.60 for 2 hot drinks, 2 bacon baps, child’s chicken goujons meal (they were cheap nuggets and only got 3) and 2 hot chocolates. There was no organisation at all amongst the staff and were randomly calling numbers out for food orders yet there are no table numbers?! I was also served my oat milk hot chocolate with cream on the top which as a lactose intolerant, I couldn’t have. The only reason for the extra star making it a 2 star review was that when I took it back up and explained, one lady apologised and quickly remade it. Such a shame the rest of the staff had...

As we only live 5 miles away this is a lovely park to visit. It garden is beautifully kept and enjoyable at any time of the year. Is is also nice to be able to pop in to the cafe for a morning treat - the staff are very friendly and the drinking chocolate delicious. My only 'niggle' is that they don't use china cups, and although the paper ones are probably recycleable, I always like to drink from a 'proper' cup. Also, when we visited last time the toilets were in such a state that I had to notifiy a member of staff. It looked like they had only been serviced early that morning (it was now nearly middady) which was clearly not enough for a busy...
