My partner and I had the pleasure of enjoying a delightful afternoon tea here today. The staff were attentive, and the desserts were truly delightful. We had booked our visit a day in advance, and I was pleased to find that my gluten-free dietary requirement was perfectly catered to, which made the experience even more enjoyable. As an avid afternoon tea enthusiast and blogger, I frequently visit new places and love finding cozy spots with lovely settings. I also collect teapots, and while the afternoon tea was enjoyable, I did feel that the teapot selection could be matching. A more traditional, matching set would enhance the overall ambiance and add a charming touch to the experience. But hey, Im just particular like that :) That said, it was a delightful afternoon tea in a beautiful setting, and I would certainly recommend it.

This is the first time that we have visited the Aldermaston Tea Rooms, and we enjoyed the food and the tea. We had egg mayo sandwiches on white bread, and the bread was very light. We then had a Cream Tea. The scones were very nice and light with plenty of cream and jam with a pot of tea for two and i hink we had 4 cups each out of the pot and the cost for this was £24 which we believed to be very reasonable. I can imagine that the tea rooms get very busy when the weather gets better but saying that it was busy today. There is a small carpark available which is free but there is a sign asking for a donation to the Kennet and Avon canal trust

Stopped here as my half way stop on today's training walk for an ultra marathon later in the year. Gorgeous little tea room. Very cosy. Excellent selection of food and drinks. I had the cream tea. Both the jam and cream were generous portions. The tea was loose leaf and very delicious. My sister had a tuna panini and judging by her empty plate I'm guessing it was also fabulous. The toilet facilities were clean and tidy.

These tearooms have been under new management since March 2023, based beside the Kennet and Avon Canal. We visited twice at the end of March. Cakes were fresh and homemade, many of which are gluten free . My partner had the lemon and blueberry cake with a latte, which she really enjoyed; I had a BLT sandwich, lovely thick soft bread with bacon and salad, superb! The coffee was very smooth, not at all bitter as you get in some places. The next time we visited I had a pot of English Breakfast tea. Will definitely visit again, would...
