Tennessee Chicken (Old Town) — Restaurant in England

I have to say that recently I am appalled and disgusted at the service I have been receiving from staff at this shop, I have been a Very long term loyal customer for many MANY years hear and order very regularly every order not jus for myself but for friends and family as well with the bill coming to over 30 or 40 quid while it is not very often a mistake happens when it does I have had issues with them making it right and now this latest incident has pushed me over the edge to write this review after 3 weeks ago I made a order on a Saturday night and took it home in the taxi that was waiting for me I found that the order was wrong and chicken wings missing I called and told them about it and I was told that next time I come in they will make it right well tonight I have made another 30 Quid order and asked about making the mistake right from last time. The response I got was like I was asking for my 30 quid order to be for free!!! when all I said was jus throw 2 or 3 pieces of side Brest in. The person I told befor never took my details down so yet another mistake by them and I have to pay. Won't be coming...

This was hands down one of the worst customer service experiences I’ve ever had. I went in to order a takeout for my food and was told it would be another 20 minutes. Fair enough — I waited in my car for 30 minutes. Went back in, and not only was there no explanation for the delay, but I watched them serving other people who arrived after me. Eventually, someone handed me my order with nothing but a casual “sorry” like it was no big deal.

Already annoyed, I drove home — only to find they’d given me the wrong order. I had specifically asked for lemon & herb, and instead got the peri chilli sauce (the hot one). I had to drive all the way back, food in hand as proof, and when I explained the issue, they acted like it was my mistake, only after realising their mistake , they acted .

No apology, no ownership — they even asked for the food back before giving me the correct one. Then I had to wait another 15 minutes on top of everything. Still no refund, no compensation, for the hassle.

This kind of service is completely careless and shows zero respect for the customer’s time or experience. Absolutely not...

Firstly, i hate giving one/two stars unless its 100% deserved.i start with the food. the wings-delicious, chiken wrap-ok, peice of chicken-ok, chicken burger-okish and chips-near perfect. Im a big spender on food but i felt this place was a total rip off and super expensive and the lady behind the till makes u feel worser this her shoddy and carless service. I bought 1 chiken burger, 1 chiken wrap, 1 drink, a pcs. of drumstick and a wings meal costing £26. What made it worser for me was when i asked for chillie sauce and peri salt i was demanded £2 more. Also the lady server can be heard laughing i the back and having a good time but when she comes to till to serve her facial expression is so depressing. Sorry guys but i wont be back. But good...
