We were over in Alderholt with my parents in law, no food in and we really could not be bothered cooking. I'd noticed various times the Thai kitchen being mentioned on facebook, so, well, thought we would pop in. We went along really quite early to order a take away. Parents in law and Wife went for chip based products, I went for a Red Curry with mixed starter. The lady who served us ( and cooked ) was so nice, very friendly, gave us some nibbles and suggested we sit and decide what we wanted. Took about 10-15 mins to make all of the meals and off we went. Through some error somehow I managed to be given a free side dish, which was offered without paying - which is the first I've ever had. Got home and well, we all enjoyed our meals. My Red curry was lovely. Great depth to the flavour and a really good portion size. Will we go again, most certainly. My parents in law also know they can get the meal delivered for £2. You really can't squabble with that. So, it's a big...
Read moreRecently attended a Christmas party for a youth football team here. The set up was really well done and allowed space for the kids to move around and talk to all their friends. Very relaxed and comfortable atmosphere with very friendly and talkative staff which made the evening feel homely. The food was delicious and very well cooked, pad Thai is my favourite dish and they do not disappoint here. They catered for everyone really well, even asking if we wanted specific dishes cooked up (being vegetarian this was a bonus as I've not had this before at a restaurant). From hearing others talk, the food was perfectly cooked with a good amount of spice so everyone enjoyed their meals. Also not many takeaway places will offer chicken nuggets and chips which is perfect for children so everyone is happy. Staff were top notch, food was delicious, atmosphere was so welcoming. All round had an amazing time and definitely eating here...
Read moreThe food at this super friendly, authentic Thai restaurant/take away NEVER fails to disappoint. The owner is a lovely Thai lady who will accommodate your every need (I’m a pescatarian) they really do go out of their way to ensure you are happy with your food. They will answer any questions you may have regarding spice levels and will recommend their favourite dishes!
The restaurant hasn’t been open for that long, but they seem to have got the ambience just right. It offers a relaxed atmosphere with super friendly/helpful staff. You have to bring your own alcohol but I see this as a positive, I’d rather spend the money on quality food rather than inflated alcoholic drink prices!! It does operate as a takeaway too so people do come in and out but this wasn’t a problem for me.
This is a fantastic addition for the village of Alderholt which has very limited food options.
Keep up the good work team Thai...
