We visited for breakfast bap and coffee.The place was cold with no atmosphere. The chap at the counter was not very welcoming.we ordered 2 bacon and sausage baps which were on the menu at £5 each.The chap very abruptly said we haven't got any and didn't say what he did have.I asked if we could have some toast and marmalade instead he said it says only jam on the menu.Bit odd because lots for sale on his shelf.Order took a while not sure why because toast didn't seem to have found the toaster it was white, coffee came without spoons and when requested he said hadn't emptied the dishwasher.The coffee was very nice so thats something.I was surprised that while we were waiting a customer came in and ordered 3 takeaway coffee's and chose some rolls off of ths shelf and he made this for them while we sat and watched and then he decided to do ours.I felt like we were surplus to his...

It's a hot day & it was SO lovely to come across this GREAT cafe & bakery. Nice & cool inside & a small seating area outside for dogs & their owners.
The owner & staff are extremely pleasant & helpful. The goods on sale are mouth-watering. A treasure trove offering lots of choice between cakes, buns, biscuits, breads & other goodies.
