The Beech Tree — Restaurant in England

Shocking just awful !!! This place used to be lovely but new owners are sinking it into the ground. Myself and my son and dad went there a few weeks ago after calling first to ask if the childrens play area was open to which they said yes!! But forgot to leave out the part that only part of it is open and the rest is a dangerous death trap even has a whole in the ground just open was shocking. Unfortunately we had already ordered our food before we saw the state of the childrens area , also outside bins were overflowing and there were poles lying around on the ground. After 40 mins waiting for a burger and seeing people that come in long after us get the same order which was obviously ours seems they had forgot about us , after being told ours was coming out then about 8 mins i said enough was enough we asked for a refund which the nice bar lady gave us back but didnt refund our drinks as we had already drank half but my son hadn't , a free complimentary drink for all the grieve may have saved me writing my review. There seemed to be lots of staff hanging around in the staff bit thats been cut off eating and looking after their kids. Im so shocked this has happened to...

Went here today for the first time with my partner, we called yesterday to book a table and it was confirmed. Turned up today and we weren’t even in the diary ! Luckily was still given the table but took them about 10 minutes to leave us there standing with no communication.

We got sat down, ordered drinks and starters at the bar along with the mains. Starters came out within 10 minutes, then had to wait an hour, yes an hour ! For our mains.

Not only it took so long, it took them to just before our food was out to say ours is next.

Roast dinner was tiny and barely chicken on mine, was all bone, my other half had the pork belly and it was under cooked.

And to top it all off the supervisor was wearing a small crop top ! And the other staff were dressed in tracksuit tops and very unprofessional.

We won’t be back...

This place is the worse place to dine, me and my family came in, to start with, the girls on the counter were chatting away as though they were catching up on old times on a pub ...the staffs knew very little about the their meals etc....the girl that attended kept walking up and down to get anwers on the questions being asked. Then my husband made an order, they came back with just my meal apparently she forgot the order given to her. Horrible horrible food...marshed potatoes filled with half kilo of salt...couldnt even eat it, my stomach cried with so much pain from the salt..every inch, i bit from the fish it was like i was chewing sand( it seemed it was dropped)...never never again...definetly the first and last at beech tree high wycombe amersham...
