The Beehive at Deanshanger — Restaurant in England

Right opposite the village green, this is a lovely little pub which gave us a delightful relaxing few hours. The main bar area is really small with a very traditional feel, but the bar staff were incredibly welcoming and friendly throughout the visit. There’s a large marque style area round the back as well as some benches on the lawn, overlooking the green. This was a real sun trap and a nice place to watch the world going by.

Given the small size of the place the range of drinks wasn’t the most varied, but fortunately the prices were really reasonable. Inside there’s lots of pictures and material on the wall giving a good atmosphere and it certainly had a vibe of being a hub of the community.

With an adequately sized carpark at the rear there’s no excuse to not pay it a visit and next time I’m passing I’ll be sure to stop by, especially...
