We arrived after we had booked in a few days earlier and they asked for the name on the reservation and we told them then it took them five minutes to get us sat down because they didn’t even book us a table in after they finally sat us down it took them five more minutes to ask what drinks we wanted and i asked for coke and they shouted from the bar after five more minutes “sorry ill be back in a few minutes i have to swap the tank over “ so after that i got my drink in another 5 minutes i had a drink of it and it was flat and didn’t even taste of coke my nana then told one of the staff who was very rude to me and my nana and she said okay and took my glass away as she rolled her eyes she walked away brought back a new coke which continued to be dlat I didn’t complain this time because it wasnt worth my time after that incident it took 10 more minutes to ask what we wanted to eat we both got the sunday lunch it came and it was disgusting the yorkshire pudding was hard and dry the chicken was also very dry and bland the stuffing tasted mushy the sweed was not mashed properly and the worst was the mash it was frozen from a bag it was absolutely appalling the staff couldn’t careless about the guests or anything please save yourself and dont come here it is also quite loud and really cramped there is barely room to move...

Not going to lie, disappointing meal.

Overcooked to the point that the stuffing was just a complete solid block. Mash lumpy and tasteless. Meat was okay, veg was soggy, but overall meal was bland. Yorkshire pud was amazing though. We didn't touch much of our food, which is suprising, as I'm usually a gannet when it comes to food; eating lots.

The booking was very last minute, it was litterally just before the meals were meant to stop, the staff were so accomodating, and can't thank them enough in that respect - my friend who workes as a career had a 2 hour free slot between a 14 hour shift so visited me.

Everyone who I know in this area raves about how good the food is, when I spoke to my neighbour he was suprised as he had an amazing steak litterally the day before we went, so genuinely I think we just caught you on an off day. We didn't say anything as we didn't want to cause a fuss.

Disappointed with Christmas Day Lunch

Stated on menu - A glass of Prosecco on arrival - we were lucky if there was 2 inches in the glass!

The place was beautifully decorated, good service & friendly staff.

The starters were superb x 4

Main - Never seen turkey served on a dinner like it - not sliced - all in bits on top of sloppy, greasy mashed potato.

A few roast potatoes but no flavour - not seasoned. Very hard carrot battons - hardly cooked Sprouts - overcooked & soft 2 small bits of broccoli Cauliflower- all veg was bland no flavour

1 small Yorkshire pudding - actually was the best bit !

No roasted parsnip No turnip No peas

Nothing special or flavourful at all like a Christmas dinner normally is!

Desserts x 2 were really lovely, however the cheeseboards x 2 - served on small tea plates were awful - a few thin slices of sweaty cheese, sour grapes, a couple of cheap crackers, thin, lank celery sticks, no butter, no chutney & no knife.
