The Britannia Inn — Restaurant in England

Myself and two friends visited here soaked through, tired, and hungry after abandoning a camping trip midway due to horrible stormy weather.

Immediately the atmosphere was welcoming and we were greeted by the owner who found us a nice table by the window, brought us menus and drinks, and took our orders promptly.

The food arrived pretty much exactly when you'd want it, not immediately so you don't get chance to relax and have a drink, but not too long. Food itself was delicious and very much needed after a long, wet, weekend.

I'd love to visit here again the next time I'm in this part of the Lake District.
