Popped in while cycling from Land's End to Tiverton. I enquired about any vegan food options and although there weren't any, the kind lady offered to make me a sandwich filled with hummus/red pepper etc. delicious!

The best sourdough and pastries I’ve had in my life, seriously. Such a lovely little place!

This is the hardest review I have ever given. Why? Simply because I want to keep this gen of a bakery to myself.

I got to the shop just after 9am this morning and myself and my wife were the 2nd customers of the day, the cake display was just being filled as we arrived and in the bakery behind the serving counter I could see the Baker turning out dough ready for shaping.

We ordered some hazelnut praline cruffins that looked fantastic (I should have taken a picture prior to eating) and a buttermilk doughnut to eat in the car with the coffee we also purchased.

The buttermilk doughnut was outstanding, the dough was rich and fluffy with a fantastic flavour simply glazed, WOW great start to the day.

The cruffins we ate later in the afternoon and I have to say it was the best cake/treat I have ever had, flakey on the outside and soft in the middle with a fantastic filling. This is the second cruffin I have had made by this bakery the first yesterday from The Gardens tea room located within the grounds of Trennance Gardens, they seemed extremely proud of the origins of the cruffin when we asked and so they should be. If you are ever in the vicinity of this shop or even if your not, please make the detour or find an establishment that sells their products.

Quite simply the highlight of our holiday in respect of locally made food products, take a...

A small firm that has grown big, even though they opened around Covid. Unfortunately they need to understand that the customer service also needs to grow. Trying to support local and also save myself one small amount of stress ensuring the family has decent bread. Went in, spoke to a Lady and she said they could deliver as we were local, set up an order for each week, nothing to make anyone millionaires but still an order. Well I think in the near two months since I set this up not one order has been right! Either not delivered, wrong bread etc etc. I popped a note through the door for someone to call me, nothing. When I did get hold of someone it was basically my fault as I should never have been offered delivery. I think he might have apologised as I cut the call but he certainly didn’t seem too worried on the poor service when he was telling me all the reasons why it wasn’t...

Some of the best pastries I’ve ever had (and I’ve had a lot). Went here at least 3 times in a week and wish we had been able to go more! Daily struggle of what to choose was our biggest issue. Cinammon bun and vanilla bun were incredible and excellent value for money (pretty large!). The perfect balance of soft dough, crunchy outside, sweet balanced with butter content and all round delicious . Other pastries (croissant based) were well laminated and also tasty. Doughnuts were decent but the pastries were the highlight. Sourdough breads also really good. They supply local cafes so easy to find their goods elsewhere. Friendly service. Dog friendly. Highly...
