Clean and friendly pub , it's has a lovely fire in the main bar . It has any amazing outside area with a place to smoke with heaters , the people are so very friendly and happy to see u it is a village pub with everyone welcome weather your just going to have a coffee or beer after work . They do have a full working kitchen but no chef at the moment but they will make tosted sandwiches, chips, onoin rings so you don't have to go hungry and as a woman I'm happy to go there by myself and read I've never felt unsafe and I know the owner would always make add sure u got to the car park or call u a Uber they would never leave u outside by yourself they really are good people . A charming quant traditional pub. With welcoming bar maid. The locals spoke well of the large breakfast they serve. The genre of music from the juke box gave pleasing background music. Our attraction to the pub was the occasional bouncy castle placed in the well presented garden. The newly covered pool table is always welcomed. We had a wonderful Christening party here for our little boy. A great selection of food was catered for us and I had a big crowd of people attend. All of the staff were very helpful and nothing was too much trouble. Having use of the garden and bouncy castles as an added bonus made the day that more special for us all.
