My favourite pub ever , new owners are lovely as are all the staff, they're always happy to help , They opened an hour early for my brothers wake (upon request)and they we're all so fantastic, I couldn't thank them all enough, anyway they do the best freshly cooked nosh ever too, perfect beer garden in summer, large pool room with dart board and sunlit conservatory, can go alone and will be made very welcome, the toilets are spotlessly clean and smell so nice too, very family friendly,kids are always welcome , from a quick drink in the afternoon to Sunday lunch with all the family this is the place to go, check for yourself you won't be...

I went in last night at 8pm for a couple of pints watching a football game. A couple brought two large dogs in and plonked down next to me. The dogs weren’t kept on a short leash and were weaving and rubbing against me, it was difficult to move around them to go to the toilet or get a drink. I was looking forward to watching a football game, not be a participant in Crufts. I left at half time and won’t be going back there to watch sports.Pretty inconsiderate for anyone that may be allergic to pet hair or generally doesn’t want good clothes to smell...

Our daughter went there with her class after her last day at school today. Her first time without her parents, she ordered a halloumi burger WITHOUT red onion and tomato. It came with the onion and tomato. She told a member of staff, who proceeded to take the bun off the burger (at the table) and remove the onion and tomato with her hands.
