We visited on Sunday afternoon, around 1:40 pm, and had almost a few of the options run out/not available, like Jacket potatoes and pizzas. Still the veg wraps and bean pasty were yummy! They do have cold sandwiches as well, but were out of stock that day. Apart from the options available on the menu card, they also have some quick bites, as seen in the photo. Also, the sunday closing timings are 4 pm, but still we were able to grab a coffee around 4:30, lucky us maybe :D A good amount of covered space to enjoy your food, and many open picnic tables as well, in case the weather is sunny!

Friendly helpful staff. Reasonable prices and decent coffee. Get the big breakfast if you don't want to eat lunch! Cumberland sausage in a bun is a good option. It's a dog friendly cafe, and can get busy (especially at weekends) The only downside is the sticky tables. Some TLC and general maintenance wouldn't come amiss... The latest idea is online ordering from the table, but I prefer the interaction with the friendly staff

Nothing in the menu is the true item you order. A £13.50 + service-charge "succulent plant based burger" is literally a vegetable burger… A "grilled halloumi wrap with seasoned egg" is just 2 slices of halloumi and some falafels (no egg, no mention of falafels?) Essentially, their menu isn't exactly what you get, so don't bother reading it. Not to mention, the extortionate pricing.

What a total disappointment 😞 We used to use the cafe when it was the dragonfly cafe before lockdown. We decided to treat ourselves to a breakfast this morning, I really wish that we had settled for some cereal or toast at home . The staff were disinterested & distant & are young & definitely not enthused with their employment! The food & service used to be of such high quality before it changed hands. My, my, how standards have dropped. My partner wanted something light & settled for poached eggs on toast,I settled for the light breakfast. We were really looking forward to the food as we rarely eat out. What a disappointment, my partners eggs were not cooked properly & her toast was waterlogged, she returned it to the counter & politely pointed out to the 2 young girls behind the counter the problem with her food, the staff were matter of fact & almost disinterested, I think that this is down to a lack of customer service training rather than the staffs personality. They arranged to prepare a replacement meal, during this time I was eating my meal the sausage & bacon were nice, but again, I had undercooked eggs & waterlogged toast. My partners replacement meal arrived in exactly the same condition as the 1st one ? Undercooked eggs & waterlogged toast . My partner returned it to the counter & was not even acknowledged by the staff, she eventually spoke to a manager, who basically said, points noted?? At no point was there an apology of an offer of a partial refund?? We left totally disappointed & shocked at the service, the standard of food & the fact that we had paid £20 + for 1 sausage, 1 rasher of bacon & a few hash brown bites. Needless to say we will not be returning, we will try a local independent...

This is what used to be the Dragonfly Café at Dinton Pastures. The staff are great and the food is excellent. We were there on a sunny Friday lunchtime and it was fairly busy but the service at the counter was very slick. There was a bit more of a wait to collect the coffees but it's worth the wait - the coffee is lovely. They appear to be run by Cleverchefs and there is a big emphasis on sustainability, local sources for their products and recycling. Up to 12 Noon they do breakfast items and from then on they do sandwiches and various lunch options. They do have toasties on their menu but I enquired about a cheese and ham toasty and they didn't do that so maybe no toasties at all. Lots of seating inside and outside as per the old Dragonfly setup but it all looks a...

I visit the Coffee House most mornings after walking my dog. The staff are really so friendly and welcoming, they always have a smile first thing in the morning and are great with dogs too! Justine and her team are so efficient and friendly and are always very kind and helpful to customers. They go above and beyond to look after their customers, they are amazing with the elderly, they really do go out of their way to make sure they are looked after. The setting is lovely and rural on the edge of the country park, perfect place to end a walk around the lake. The coffee is delicious and always consistently good and the door step toast is a must! A lovely place to visit...
