Superb! Loved it. Busy, popular, dog friendly cafƩ with lovely staff and mighty fine food. Quirky, colourful interior with great decor and a magnificent, handpainted mural - someone here has a very good, discerning, arty eye for style and putting a look together. Gorgeous, healthy looking, vibrant plants; divine pottery ceramics and I loved the glasses too. Very good taste! It is so attractive and welcoming on the outside and it carries on within. Has outdoor seating to the front. No loos, but there is a loo a short hop away. Spoilt for choice with cakes and biccies, I bought a slice of raspberry and chocolate cake to have later. I had a pot of green tea and a Fentimans ginger beer. To eat, I had the goats cheese, heritage tomatoes and pesto potatoes. It came beautifully presented and was both filling and tasty. Highly recommended - what a...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreBoth myself and my other half opted for the roast beef with horseradish potatoes and rocket on a slice of sourdough toast. We were really glad we did as it was delicious. As our eyes were bigger than our bellies, it was then followed by a slice of coconut & vanilla cake for me and a slice of orange & jasmine cake for my other half. They were also delicious. It was then up to Cod Beck reservoir for us to walk it off and the dog to have a swim! The cafe only has enough room for two tables outside but we were glad to be told that dogs were allowed inside the cafe. There are no customer toilets but there are public toilets in the village, which was no biggie. Overall, great lunch, friendly staff, dog friendly, lovely location, would highly...

We got the breakfast on toast. The bread was full of grease and inedible all the other ingredients was coated in oil and who serves breakfast and they don't do beans.very strange. It's a dog friendly cafe and that was fine as I'm an animal lover so that was not a problem. One of the owners dogs came over and sat with us, it had a cooler with a sign on it saying " don't feed me". I think the dog must have wrote it itself. The quality was terrible and the price was ridiculous, £30-15p for a truly terrible breakfast. My friend and myself spent the rest of the day being ill. Not a...
