Stopped by here for lunch and was happy to see they take walk-ins. The vibe is really calm with nice décor, not too flashy, just relaxed and soothing. The menu has some great options. I went with the ribeye steak (medium rare) and it was cooked perfectly just how i wanted it done, it was also super flavourf. Tried the house smash burger too, which was also solid. We came around 1 PM, so it wasn’t too busy, which made it even more chill. Overall, this is definitely not a “one and done” spot. It’s the kind of place you’d come back to for another meal or just to hang out.

Dined here a couple of times and have never been disappointed. Today we tried the Street food Monday offering Caribbean dishes. The food served by Gerald and the team was fantastic, bursting with flavour, beautifully presented and all at a reasonable price. A must try!

An excellent meal!! My wife and I went for dinner last night, it was excellent! The food was great, and a menu that’s a bit different to anywhere else locally. The staff were great and the social distancing measures were really good - we both felt super safe.

It's okay. They charge a premium price and the service, food and drinks don't quite live up to it.

For example, when you order a round of drinks the waiting staff deliver them two drinks at a time - they don't seem to have any trays. Presumably to reduce the number of trips, mixers are all poured completely into the drinks, rather than letting you adjust to personal taste. They don't do this if you buy a drink at the bar.

One of the beers we ordered was completely flat, and when we returned it the bar staff didn't really know what to do.

The menu is extensive - perhaps too extensive. Everything we ordered was fine, but not remarkable or memorable. It seemed like most things were pre-prepared, rather than made in house on the day. It took a long time to arrive.

The venue is really nice, so hopefully it will grow better as everything settles in. Wouldn't avoid it, but won't be...

Staff were very friendly and the live music was great. But... the burger tastest like a cheap outdoor event, not to mention there was no effort in presentation and the burger had collapsed. Fries were oversalted and the coleslaw was off. Bun was overcooked. My drink was watered down. The rocky road brownie was no better. It was cold, undercooked, and the pouring cream was off/very sour with lumps in it. Lights in the toilets are broken. Difficulty moving around due to density of tables. Oh and i swear i heard a smoke detectors battery warning go off twice. Overall. I can get better food, better service, better everything, for less money at any Anchor...

We had a family lunch after our wedding ceremony and we had a really lovely experience. Food was very good, with plenty of choices and accommodated my vegan son's choices more than adequately. Service was extremely attentive and couldn't be faulted. We were eating, drinking and chatting for best part of 3 hours and never felt under any pressure to finish up. All together a great day and would highly recommend for any celebration. Parking was perfect for our group's 6 cars too, which was a factor in our choice of venue. Thanks to all the staff for making our experience...
