The Crew Room — Restaurant in England

The invisible Man! Walked over from the heli flight school to get a drink, so i cannot comment on the food, got my drink out of the drinks chiller, placed it on the counter to pay. Chap behind the counter was making two coffees. He made the two coffees and walked straight past me without any form of acknowledgement. He took the coffees outside and gave them to two customers and then walked back inside again straight past me, not even a glance, no comment, just nothing and then proceeded to do something else behind the counter. It was surreal, and i found myself thinking that this must be what it is like to be a spirit/ghost! So i picked up the drink that was right in in front of him on the counter, still no acknowledgement, and put it back in into the chiller cabinet. I think only then did he look up, but too late. I am sure the food is great based on the comments, and i was told it was worth a visit, next time, i think i will take a claxon and some...

We always visit The Crew Room when we visit Denham Aerodrome, it's a nice cafe to visit for either a simple coffee or a light lunch, there's lots of variety for all requirements, Ed the owner is always ready to have a chat and a laugh with the customers, there is ample seating inside for those rainy days or pleanty of seating outside to sit and watch the ait traffic on the aerodrome which is literally the other side of the fence, this is a great place to bring children with an interest for light aircraft and helicopters. There is also a toilet for which you will need the key from the cafe. Also this cafe has always been spotlesy clean each time that we have visited.

Honest review. My family did NOT enjoy this café. It was VERY expense, small portions. tiny plates dirty cutlery. I had a jacket potato with Tuna and cheese and felt so poorly all afternoon since eating it. My husband was fine with his food but didn't have tuna. No umbrellas to sit outside on the picnic benches. No high chair for a child. No changing facility's for child, was told not to bring a pushchair in as they don't have the room. So we struggled for my child to eat his food as did I while holding him and eating myself. Just didn't get a warm welcome that we though we was getting from these current reviews on here.
