Did review this some time ago but editing due to visiting again today! Food used to be lovely but it has now rapidly gone down hill. Save your money and go somewhere decent. I'd suggest Nala's Brasserie in Cleethorpes delicious food for value of money! And my favourite by far us The Pear Tree in Humberstone. The food is always fresh and homemade to perfection!....... Update We decided to give it another try 09/04/2018 and still absolutely disgusting! I had lasagna which was shockingly burnt! Garlic bread with cheese Rock hard! No doubt pinged in micro to melt cheese! And as for the salad it was vile! The lettuce looked ancient and also got served the heart of the lettuce! Never again!! 🤢 Oh and ya can't even play pool due to the fact there's no room to take a shot as table and chairs way to close!

The food was lovely , very tasty and hot My booking was for 10people but only 9 squashed up chairs out so had to take a seat from another table and fit in in to the already tight table We had 3 young children with us and wanted to take up the £1 offer but was told it was after 3 pm (even though the website clearly says after 12 during school hols) The manager came out and was told to put it through as £1 The bill was higher than expected so asked for a receipt We was charged £1 kids meal £2 ice cream £2 fruit shoot per child , when we asked about this was told the drinks and ice cream not included ? Website clearly says different !!

Visited The Cricketers on a Sunday and was surprised by the size of the pub. They have a Fuzzy Eds play area for the kids which during my visit was closed. We ordered food from the bar which came very quickly and tasted amazing! Prices here are also reasonable, I highly recommend getting the app as some good offers become available on certain days. The only issue we had was the car parking, there appears to be 2 entrances for cars but one of them is only for disabled parking. Better signage needed for this. Will definitely be returning friendly staff and good quality food.

Visited the play area for a party on a Tuesday evening. Waited 5 minutes to be let in. Then another 20 minutes at the cash desk to order a drink. To be told no chocolate on the machine so ordered a latte instead which looked like dish water. Taste was awful so left it. One of my children was at the party but my other wasnt so decided I would order some food for us to come at the same time as the party food. Couldnt find an adults menu. Was told they cant serve adult meals in the kids area but can serve the kids meals??? So do I go sit in the pub and eat whilst one child sits alone at the table and the other left unsupervised in the party area? I decided to just order for my child. I ordered a meal deal pizza veggie dippers and bbq sauce and a drink and icecream. The woman serving said 'its gonna be a 25 minute wait coz their dead busy in the main bit' ok... 30 minutes later the pizza still hadnt arrived. I went to see were it was to be told 'erm its not even 25 minutes and I told you it would be that long already' 10 mins later the pizza (which was one of those 45p ones you get in lidl) arrived with 3 pieces of chopped pepper and a slither of cucumber! No bbq sauce and no sign of any veggie dippers??? My child ate the lot in seconds and asked for more!!! Oh dear. I decided not to say anything as the girl just had an attitude and couldnt be bothered. I never complain but feel like this place is being neglected whilst the pub section...

Not the best organised pub/restaurant, bit like a headless chicken scenario. When we did eventually get to order at the bar the girl was pleasant took our order in sections , Starters Mains, then drinks .The next bit was were it starts to go wrong the Starters came in spurts and we had to ask for things that had not arrived just we got everything together the mains arrived Steaks and all ( we sent these back to the kitchen) . We were having 3 x Sharer strarters and just tomuch food to handle. When they eventually sent them out again after having to go to the bar to ask for them they had been sitting on a hot plate for 20mins and the Steaks were ruined ( sent them back and said we were going to eat else were). Cory the Manage was very helpful and apologised for the mess up and after discounting our bill gave round of drinks as way of an apology. Not sure if its just poor organisation or no staff in the Kitchen but I would...

The table was ready for the time, in a relatively quiet area which we asked for. The queue for the bar to order drinks and food was long, with noone sure where to queue. When we placed our order their was only 1 lasagne left, no sausages left so the mega mixed grills were given 1 piece of bacon and an egg. (1 piece of bacon and 1 egg does not cost £3). When asked if the fish was haddock we got told "Its white fish". The Caribbean skewers were well done. We ordered desserts, but again there were no Cadbury sundaes or cheesecake. The desserts were brought out our table hadn't been cleared, no effort was made to clear it. I placed the plates on another table. I know they were busy but the service was quite poor and the amount of food that wasn't available was ridiculous. We were a party of 9 who were all having a 2 course meal, but didn't in the end due to lack of desserts. It was quite...
