Disappointing experience at The Cross Keys Pub on 21 May 2025. Two Black customers were mistreated by a rude and aggressive bartender around 16:40. They were pressured to buy drinks or leave, even after politely explaining they were waiting for a friend. The bartender was disrespectful, possibly intoxicated, and made them feel very uncomfortable.

After reading other reviews, it’s clear this isn’t an isolated incident, I have every reason to believe it’s the same rude staff member mentioned repeatedly. It’s a shame to see such a beautiful pub’s reputation being tarnished by one person. Management needs to take...

We called the pub to ask whether that could put on the men's final of tennis in Roland Garros and the manager that day agreed he would. When we arrived the pub was empty at 3pm but we got a very warm welcome from the manager. We watched the match on a super big screen which was great ! The pub slowly filled up as the evening progressed, lots of locals who clearly are regulars and enjoy coming in. They also were very welcoming to us although they were clearly not tennis fans ! Some of them took an interest and chatted to us, all in all a great afternoon/ evening...

Back at the cross keys sports bar when visiting Peterborough for work. Two pool tables, two dart boards setup in their own area. They kindly hosted a company darts event for us a few months ago and the team enjoying the evening we will be doing it again in the summer. Monday night is league darts night, and Thursdays is league pool night, so avoid these nights if you are after using the dart boards.
