Get past the tired look of the place & the initial 'looks' you get from being a newbie in the place, & you'll find a friendly atmosphere & a great selection of beers & ciders to choose from. We went on a 'Vinyl night', held every 4th week. The tunes were being played and us - being oldies - really enjoyed them. It was great to finish off an evening out doing that. So glad...

A very nice pint served with a smile in a friendly environment, with a nice selection of 5 or 6 beers. The pub is nothing special to look at but it's a very nice drinking hole which is a very welcome change from the generic pubs everywhere.
