When we went here there were only 2 beers on tap/cask. Not a much of a selection. The bartender, Joghurt (Yogurt), wasn’t hospitable. If you aren’t going to offer a lot for selection and not be friendly
I don’t get it. After meeting other people around town, I was met with eye rolls and rye smiles after they heard we went to the Crown. Then told very similar stories of their experiences. Glad it’s not just us
but wow. Even the people we were staying with said, “I went there once and never went back because of the chap behind the bar.” There are other places to go have a pint. Do yourself a favor and skip this one. And no, I’m sure it was this pub. I’m not confused. If you only have a few employees, it’s either yourself or one of them. I gave you the name I received. Phonetically. It’s funny that you don’t know who I’m talking about because when I said the name in town, everyone else knew EXACTLY who I was talking about.

We stayed in the accommodation near to the pub which was perfectly OK for a night's stay. Room was clean and the shower worked. Bed was a bit hard and you had to lug a suitcase up a flight of stairs. The pub was homely but quiet for a Sunday afternoon. Some of the beer was brewed on the premises but it wasn't to my taste. The drinkers were pleasant and sociable.
