A little rough around the edges and considering the age and beauty of the building, I feel more could be done to restore or be kind to it. A few more local taps would be nice, other than the Carling/strongbow types. Other than that, the people drinking there seemed friendly and the lady behind the bar did as well, there was also a friendly dog inside. Price is incredibly cheap so that’s good too. Menu looked a little inclusive, but didn’t have time to try anything. Thank you.

If pub chains need to find out what great customer service looks like, get yourself down to this wonderful place.Ken and Mary the proprietor's made you feel welcome from the moment you walked through the door, great selection of ales, lovely food and friendly locals,a little gem set in the beautiful village of Claverly, many thanks for a lovely afternoon.

Warm friendly welcome by the bar lady. Excellent home cooked Sunday roast. homemade yorkies were choice and so too was the moist succulent roast pork. Plenty of gravy too!

An experience that's for sure. The landlady and landlord were very happy and welcomed you. It was very quiet when we arrived, a few local people in the bar, and i have to say all men. At first i felt a little awkward as i had my granddaughter with us, but the landlady soon put us at our ease. I will certainly come back as our dog will be allowed in the bar. Thanks look forward to seeing you soon. Food...

Missus needed to pee so had to make a quick stop What a great friendly bar pity it wasn't very busy as we like country village pubs and this one ticked all the boxes very nice pint great greeting from the proprietor who was full of local information will definitely recommend this place for a quick pint Again though Claverley is full of extremely narrow lanes so careful...
