Best 'cafe' experience you'll find. This place is absolutely fantastic! We moved to nearby Lelant a year ago, and from the moment we stepped into the deli, Vikki, Maxine, and Kim made us feel incredibly welcome. Vikki, in particular, is one of the best hospitality professionals I’ve ever met, instantly making you feel at home. The coffee is excellent, and the view breathtaking. I often come here to work, enjoying the ocean view while brainstorming new ideas. The calm, relaxing music adds to the overall vibe, making it hands down the best café experience in the area.
If I had to nitpick, the only minor inconvenience is that the toilet is in the restaurant next door, so you have to step outside. But honestly, this doesn’t take away from how amazing this place is.
I highly recommend it for the warm hospitality, great coffee (and cake!), and the stunning view, with short beach walks/ swims perfect...

The other main room with more available and practical seating had live music, which was way too loud to actually have a conversation with anyone else on your table.
Unfortunately the staff also make you feel like you’re annoying them by generally being in there.
Overall a stressful unwelcoming experience in what should be a...

Alas, sandwiches are just not a British thing*, but rarely has one made me sad. Until now. Wish I had read the reviews here before trying the £11 tasteless toastie that I had to wait 15 minutes for. I will not make the mistake again of assuming anything with ham and melted cheese couldn’t be that bad. It was. Two stars for seaside atmosphere while I waited, but this cafe feels like a bit of a waste of excellent real estate.
*Realise the Earl of Sandwich was actually very British, but I argue the touch has been...
