The Five Stones - JD Wetherspoon — Restaurant in England

I have been coming to this site since 1998 owning and renting caravans ,different franchise almost every other year but this one Wetherspoons is the laughable of the lot £5.55 for a pint of Coors lager ( wetherspoons in London) ?? ,The food was reasonably priced first meal 9/10 second I wondered where the fish had gone ( my granddaughters portion off the kids menu tasted and looked the bees knees mine limp no fish deflated ,I was here with as usual a party of 7 football they advertised TNT sports if your hard of hearing you can read the subtitles off the screen because no volume, no taking subtitles off due to Wetherspoons legislation so it's in colour and you can try and guess who has scored or is winning ,Haven have ran this site with so many different companies owning either the site or franchise of some of the outlets here but the pricing o this one is the rent must be that high they think they can hit the customer ...wrong our now last time ever here as in 2 other families as we found the same environment with nearly a £2 drop in liquids and £4 drop in food per person and caravans in first class condition for about £25 less it's time to move out whilst the staff are great the buyer needs shooting...

Overpriced, well it is in a holiday park, but food was not up to standard. We ordered a bbq burger meal and a chicken burger meal. It only took 5 minutes before it was served to us. The chips were tasteless, soft and undercooked. The bbq burger consisted of two burnt patties, with a piece of cheese that was not melted in the slightest and a cold rigid piece of bacon. That tells me the burgers were not hot and fresh when the cheese was added. The bbq sauce came in a separate pot. So it's not really a bbq burger, surely? My wife had the chicken burger, she was not impressed either. Oh, forgot to say, i originally wanted fish and chips, but they had no fish!! They don't seem to stock many drinks for kids either. This was our first evening at the holiday park. Very disappointing, we were expecting tasty food. Burger King next door will probably be better value/taste for a burger. The next evening i ordered a pepperoni pizza. It looked a bit sloppy, but tasted fine. We went again the next evening, due to lack of other options. This time i was able to order the cod and chips. Would give no stars for this place I love a Wetherspoons but this one needs sorting out chips undercooked and my daughters chicken breast was like chewing on a flip flop she even said it’s dry and she is 7 kids eat anything at that age but chicken from this place no she didn’t eat it mixed grill all the meat was like rubber and the sausages barely warm how long have they been sitting about since breakfast forgot to order the free drinks with our meals that come with them got told can’t have them have to pay won’t be returning to this place don’t waste your money here go else where on the park and to finish off the garlic bread pizza was a flappy bit of bread with garlic butter on it not even crispy at all shocking do better or leave the park let another restaurant take over that’s actually gonna do...
