An absolutely amazing little cafe, the food is delicious and the staff are beyond incredible! We visited every morning during a week long trip with our two dogs and we always left with a smile on our face! Every member of staff we spoke to was incredibly friendly and made us feel welcome, our dogs were extremely well catered for and were made to feel at home ๐Ÿ•๐Ÿ• Ennerdale is extremely lucky to have such a great local cafe and I can't recommend it enough - if you're staying locally or just passing through, it really is worth a visit! A huge thank you to everyone who works there, especially Helen, Grace, Vicky and Harry. You truly did make every morning an absolute pleasure and we can't wait to visit again โค๏ธ

What a wonderful little cafe and community hub! To say it is dog friendly is such an understatement, we have never been to such a dog accommodating cafe and all the staff went above and beyond to cater to our pooches and ourselves. We only had a week's holiday in the local area and found ourselves popping in every morning for a coffee (and sausage for the boys) before heading out on a walk. Big thankyou to Grace, Helen, Harry, Vicky and the rest of the staff for being so welcoming ๐Ÿ™ Will be visiting again as soon as we can! Best wishes from Stephen and Vicky (and Duke and Bastion)

Lovely small cafe based at Ennerdale Bridge. Very relaxed atmosphere with sofas and table sizes to cater for different sized groups if needed. The cafe has a good range of cakes, drinks, and lunch options, mainly paninis and sandwiches. They also do a small range of local foods, and Lakes merchandise, books, herdy, and souvenirs. Prices were all good. Parking for about 8 cars out front. Two benches around the back of the cafe if you wish to sit outside.

Booked afternoon cream tea there from their photographs. Also been before and place had a friendly feel about it and happy staff. This occasion was very different.

The afternoon tea, consisted of 1 sandwich each cut into quarters with just one filling, crisps were stale. There was no extras like salad etc. The cakes were nice, but none were cream cakes and out of the four cakes three were chocolate. The scones were okay served with the normal cornish cream and jam.

We were only allowed one cup of coffee. For the price they charged it was overcharged. The pictures of the cream teas they think they offer on their website are very misleading. This is a venue we will not be...

I was looking forward to try this venue due to the reviews. Yes it was full at times, the food was good for the price but nothing special either..I can cope with that BUT what I really do not like is to be treated as if I was an inconvenience for just turning up at a busy time, barely welcomed or acknowledged. The owner is lucky the teenagers working hard to keep the tables clean and some interacted well with the visitors. I may get a defensive reply from the owner but I am telling you how this was for me... Advice: Smile and be welcoming... that is the number one in keeping your clients especially in this business. Will...
