We came here as a party of 12 for my daughters 13th and sons 21st birthday celebrations on Monday 17th April 2017. Unfortunately some of the meals were of poor quality. My gammon came out cremated although when complained a replacement was made. The pastry on the beef and ale pie was extremely hard so much so they couldn't even cut in to it. The sizzler's one of which was my sons didn't come out sizzling they appeared to have been microwaved hot. The sea bass came with a thick congealed gravy which was really weird as it was served with salad and boiled potatoes although the potatoes had been fried. Been several times and most times in was really good. Its popular with the locals, and deservedly so for the majority of the time.

However, on my last visit, the food we were served was disgusting and I would of been embarrassed to of served us the food they brought out. It was the manager who served us, and I was disappointed she felt it was acceptable to serve us the food they did. It was burnt, and looked like someone had scraped it off the floor after a dog had gotten to it first.

It was very disappointing and we haven't been back since. So although I'm sure most of the time the food is of a good quality, it certainly wasn't on our last visit.
