The George Inn — Restaurant in England

This was the first time I'd eaten in the George on a Friday night. What an absolutely fantastic experience. The Food was outstanding, the service was brilliant and the atmosphere was wonderful. Nothing but laughter and respect for others. The bar staff were great and I only waited 15 seconds to be served at a busy bar. I cannot find any fault with this pub, first impressions last and the first impression of this pub, its customer focused, making sure each customer is given the gold standard of service.This was the first time, it was a delight to give the staff a tip, well deserved. Went here for our anniversary, my steak was over cooked and they took my whole meal away but it meant I watched my wife eat then I ate. Far from ideal, they ran out of ribeye so I had to have sirloin but still got charged for ribeye. The salad was really gritty could have done with a wash! Such a shame are here before and the food was perfect. Probably never go back again after that poor effort. Visited this evening 13th Aug 21 to meet up with friends from London and Brixworth was half way to where they were staying. Only been here once before 11 years ago. WHAT A FIND . Great attentive hospitality from all staff, but the food was something else. ABSOLUTELY FABULOUS.. I chose salmon, huge portion and beautifully cooked with crushed new potatoes and fresh green beans with a delicious lemon cream sauce.
