Lovely community run little cafe opposite the church in Martock in a beautiful building made from the local stone, if only the stone could tell the stories it must of witnessed over the years. The staff were wonderfully welcoming and especially as they were in the midst of chaos after losing Internet and card payment facilities they relied on good old paper and pen.
Ordered some delicious looking cakes and cream tea for the kids, all giving a big thumbs up. I looked at the specials board and went with a simple cheese and ham toasted sandwich in white bread. Served with a side salad and crisps. Nothing special but also nothing wrong with it, all tasted as expected, freshly made with a pleasing cheese pull without totally burning my mouth.
