Can't rate the food as I didn't partake. The service was friendly and the Old Brewery Bitter was as good as I've had anywhere and the outside space is lovely.

Shocking service by Harry. Having called in advance of our planned visit to say that we need an outside room due having dogs in our car, we were assured that having 3 people we would get an outside room. We also stated on the online booking form what our needs were. When we then arrive to be told that no we haven’t been given an outside room and we were as far from the car park as you could get. Haven shown our booking information and advised of our call we were told tuff they are all booked. There was no care, no apology, no customer service at all. Harry saying it was down to their system and nothing they could do. He didn’t care for our needs or concerns. We have never been treated so appallingly. Their attitude was just tuff. Stay away from this hotel. I can happily report that we found a dog friendly hotel with excellent service near by. Weetwood hotel is extremely and so customer focused with...

Usually very busy - there was no one in there which should’ve been the first red flag.

Ordered two pork roasts - dry meat, instant mash, roasties / veg / yorkshire were all stale & 100% not fresh or ‘homemade’ and it listed as being served with stuffing but (thank god) it didn’t come with any.

When we complained the young person on the bar got the manager, who was arrogant, rude and defensive and told us we ‘should’ve ordered the beef’ like that would’ve improved the rest of the vile food that was served.

Saving grace was the bar staff (just to clarify
not the manager) as he was kind, considerate and gave us a refund but unfortunately agreed the place was a dive and horrible to work for đŸ™đŸ»

This place must’ve changed hands recently as it used to be a reliable pick.

Trust the...

Refused service:

Just been refused service at the Harewood Arms due to having a young child, I was promptly asked to leave by the Manager which came across rude and abrupt.

Since doing my research, I now understand this is regulation for Sam Smith pubs which is fine, but I also believe that DOGS are also BANNED from being inside the pub as well.

There was a big Rottweiler looking quite intimidating barking at all the customers which was allowed within the premises, so it seems one rule for the locals and another rule for others.

Thankfully I won’t...
