The Jubilee Inn — Restaurant in England

I recently had the pleasure of visiting the Jubilee Inn, and I must say, it was an incredible experience from start to finish! This place has everything you could hope for in a pub: a welcoming atmosphere, fantastic food and drinks, and, most importantly, exceptional staff who truly make you feel at home.

A special shoutout to Lauren, Amy, and Summer, who went above and beyond to ensure our visit was perfect. Lauren greeted us with such warmth and enthusiasm that we felt like regulars from the moment we walked in. Amy was quick to recommend some of the pub’s signature dishes and drinks, and her knowledge of the menu was impressive. Summer was an absolute delight, always smiling and making sure we had everything we needed. Their teamwork and positive energy created such a friendly and relaxed vibe.

The food was delicious and perfectly cooked, and the drinks were spot on—whether you’re a craft beer lover, a cocktail enthusiast, or just in the mood for a good pint, they’ve got you covered. The décor was cozy yet modern, with just the right mix of charm and comfort.

Myself and two friends went for our tea yesterday 10/4/25 we ordered I had tomahawk pork they told me it takes half an hour to cook I was ok with that, my friends meals came the fish and chips one of my friends ordered looked awful like something you would buy frozen very poor, I was still waiting for mine asked a few times where mine was to be told it'll be a couple of more minutes no it took an hour and it still wasn't ready when I went to the bar again, we had to be where we were going at 8 o clock by this time it was ten to 8 and my meal still wasn't ready after an hour, it's a good job I'd ordered garlic bread or else I would have had nothing, the staff didnt seem to know what they were doing, it seems to me they need some extra training . I did get a refund for my meal which I was thankful for, there was also another table of about 9 people celebrating a birthday, they ordered their meals at 6-30 and still hadn't got it when we left, other people were coming in after us and getting their food, I have to say we're all very...

Not one to ever write reviews but i couldn’t not. I’m local to the Jube, and my dad’s been going for many years. Me and my dad was having a drink and outside in the smoking shelter there were three people drinking of the bench. One women (who I later found out worked in the kitchen as she was vocal about it) started making raicst comments, baring in mind my dad was talking to his family on the phone in a language that wasn’t english. Once he has left the area I was still there and the comments made were completely unacceptable and racist. As we said we are local but this has made us not want to come back. Especially because she is a member of staff. I find it absolutely disgusting considering she was well aware my dad wasn’t english. Even more embarrassing that she was open about working there once making them comments.
