Found this little gem quite by accident really. Today was cold and rainy, the welcome was all but! The cozy little cafe was snug and inviting. Filled up fairly quickly so an early arrival will guarantee you a table. There was an acceptable wait between ordering and the delivery of the drinks and the food. The Latte was piping hot (volcanic) and not as full bodied - imo tasted like low-fat milk and filter coffee (the only complaint). The food was outstanding!! The eggs are bright orange (farm fresh) the pork sausage is made in house as well as the bacon and both are DIVINE!! Minimal salt which makes them delicious! Upon request I was given a ramekin of grated cheese and farm made seedless blueberry jam - hands down THE best jam I have ever had. Appears to have been made with little sugar, giving a delightful savoury taste and not overly “jam sweet”. The staff are friendly, informative and the service amazing. A young lady served us today and if there is an employee of the month award, she deserves it! I never got your name (sadly) but job well done young miss. The Cheese Room is a delightful addition to the farm as is the Butchery. Both offering amazing local produce! Yes many will say it is expensive, BUT if we were to support more local producers the prices will drop. Besides they aren’t all that much more expensive than the local Grocer, and their quality FAR outranks those of the Supermarkets. I love it, and we will definitely become...

A popular farm cafe with a lot of other interesting things going on. I have come here often since introduced to it by a friend. I also bring friends here and have recommender it widely.

Having said that I went on Saturday and whilst waiting for my husband to finish his shop at the butchery I went in and asked for a hot chocolate. Try the festive one I was encouraged by the waiter.is it very rich I asked and calorific. The young waiter didn’t seem to know - he just said it was festive. I said Ok and he brought me it. The first sip told me it was far too rich for me but I tried to drink it. It seemed to have something gelatinous in it as there was little lumps in it. I decided not to stay for breakfast as I’d lost my appetite . I explained this to the staff at checkout but she asked her boss and still charged me £4 I said really, you’re going to charge me for a drink I was persuaded to buy and was much richer than I was led to believe and I have not drunk? Sorry she said. Very disappointing service. I have spent a lot here and I. did not think that was good...

Undertaking a long drive from Gloucester to Cambridge, with an early start and nothing but coffee to sustain us. Stopped off at this wonderful little cafe, just off of the main road. Really glad we did as the breakfast was incredible! Really fresh ingredients all cooked to perfection and a wonderful friendly atmosphere. I can't recommend this lovely place enough, if you are in the area stop here you will not regret it. We will definitely be back, I believe this is about to become our regular stopping point

Lovely in many ways, this is a real working farm cafe with a nice ambiance. Lot's for the children to look at and do, nice food and very pleasant staff. Parking is all on the roadside, but the road is a quiet cul de sac. My only problem is that it's single small mug's of tea or coffee, not a good sized pot. Very popular for take away. Closes at 14.00.
